Driving from Denver, there are two routes:

​

Option 1: Via I-70 W and US-40 W | Travel time: 2.25 hours​

Option 2: Via Rocky Mountain National Park | Travel time: 2.5 - 3 hours

Both routes are equally scenic. We recommend Option 1 if you would like a quicker, more direct drive. We recommend Option 2 if you have the time and are wanting to explore RMNP.

LODGING​

​​​​​​​​​​Grand Lake is a small, walkable town. We recommend staying within the outlined area above. While we do not have a room block reserved - we have lots of lodging recommendations.

If you have a party of 6 or more, we recommend finding an AirBnb or VRBO.
